Credits

How Gluecrawl's credit-based billing system works.

Gluecrawl uses a credit-based billing system. Every job and run consumes credits from your account balance.

Job Creation

Creating a new job costs a fixed 10 credits, charged immediately. This covers the AI processing step where Gluecrawl analyzes the target page and prepares the extraction. If processing fails, the 10 credits are refunded automatically.

Run Costs

Run costs are variable and depend on two factors:

  1. The protection level — more protected sites cost more per page.
  2. The number of pages scraped — more pages means more credits.

Detail Page Rates

If the job extracts data from detail pages, each detail page visit costs additional credits. The rate varies by protection level:

Moderate13 items
Heavy15 items
Strict21 item

For example, at the Moderate level, every 3 detail page visits costs 1 additional credit.

How Billing Works

Run credits are charged after the run completes, based on the actual number of pages and detail items scraped. You are only billed for work that was actually performed.

Your account balance must be non-negative to start a new run. If your balance is insufficient, the run will not be created.
